Groovy Lube Story
In 1993, we launched Groovy Automotive in Austin, Texas, a full-service auto repair shop. It quickly became a success, and due to its popularity, it was a natural progression to open Groovy Lube since the auto shop was at capacity. As a result, in August of 2002, we opened the doors of Groovy Lube. We realized there was an opportunity to help people with quick minor maintenance, Texas state inspections, and oil changes for their cars while keeping our groovy high customer service standards that our customers had come to know and love.
Still today, at Groovy Lube, we maintain top-notch customer service. Our customers come to us because they trust us to keep their cars on the road. We tell them if there are any issues with their car, but we do not believe in a hard sell or selling you things you don’t need. We want everyone to feel the Groovy way of having a place that is welcoming and leaves customers feeling wanted and important, just like great businesses and customer service are supposed to be.

The staff here is always so friendly, and they go above and beyond to ensure your car is in good shape! John was great - wish I got the names of the others. Checked out my tire pressure, oil, etc. to figure out why my car was making a squeaky noise, all for free. Even had one guy cleaning my windshield while the other was inspecting my car! They explain why they’re doing what they do/what to keep an eye out for, and overall, just have integrity. They don’t try and steal your money by upselling or pretending there are issues that aren’t there. Will always be a loyal customer to Groovy Lube!
