Windshield Wiper Replacement

Help keep snow, ice, water, and debris off your windshield and enjoy crystal-clear visibility with windshield wiper replacement from Groovy Lube.

What We Do

A trained technician will visually inspect your windshield wipers for damage. If necessary and with your approval, the technician will perform a windshield wiper blade replacement, windshield wiper arm replacement, and/or rear wiper replacement.

How It Works

Over time, the rubber components of your windshield wiper blades deteriorate due to oxidation and sun exposure, making them dry and brittle. The constant movement across glass can also cause wear and tear, leaving streaks and blurry spots on the windshield that can compromise visibility.

Types of Windshield Wiper Blades

Most vehicles use one of the following common types of windshield wiper blades:

Conventional
Conventional blades feature a rubber blade attached to a metal frame. They’re the most economical type and typically last around six months.

Beam
Beam wiper blades are made of a single piece of rubber that contours to the windshield’s curvature. While these blades cost more than conventional blades, they tend to last longer and are more efficient at keeping the glass clear.

Hybrid
Hybrid blades function similarly to beam blades but feature a metal frame like conventional blades. This design aims to bring the best of both worlds to your windshield and/or rear window.

How Often Should You Switch Out Windshield Wipers?

Your windshield wipers should be inspected regularly and replaced when you notice blurriness or streaking, resulting in reduced performance and visibility.
